The Different recipes of party foods for children
Children don’t like to eat so much. Most especially if they do activities that are fun; they even sometimes forget to eat. It is more recommended to serve snacks and desserts that full meals. In this way, you will also prevent leftover foods. There are plenty of recipes that you can do, especially, if you love cooking or baking. However, you can also buy or order foods that are already made. As long as you are creative in making the foods look appealing, the children will definitely grab them. Here are some recipes of foods that you can prepare for your child’s birthday party:
1. TACOS
Ingredients:
* 1 tablespoon(s) cooking oil
* 1 cup(s) chopped cooked meat (chicken, pork, or beef leftovers work well)
* 1 clove(s) garlic, peeled and minced
* 1/4 teaspoon(s) chili powder
* 6 corn tortillas (Get the floppy, beige kind, not the crunchy, yellow kind.)
* 1/2 small sweet white onion, diced
* 1/3 cup(s) chopped cilantro
* 1/4 cup(s) salsa verde (sometimes labeled green salsa for people who don’t know that verde means green in Spanish)
* 1 lime, cut into wedges
Directions:
Heat the pan with the oil in it.
Once the oil is heated, put the garlic and the meat. Mix them accordingly until cooked.
Get another frying pan to cook the tortillas for 30 seconds. Use a tong for this.
Prepare the tacos. Put the tortillas on it and sprinkle it with Onions, cilantro, salsa verde, chilli powder, and lime
Serve and enjoy.
2. HOTDOG ON STICKS WITH MARSHMALLOW
Ingredients:
* Hotdogs
* Bar-b-que Sticks
* Marshmallows
Directions:
Prepare the ingredients. Put the hotdogs and marshmallows on the sticks.
Grill the hotdogs with marshmallows until they all become in light brown.
Serve and enjoy
3. HOT CHOCOLATE PUDDING
Ingredients:
Orange Whipped Cream
* 1/4 cup(s) heavy cream
* 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) sugar
* 1/8 teaspoon(s) grated orange zest Pudding
* 1/2 cup(s) sugar
* 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
* 3/4 cup(s) milk
* 1/2 cup(s) heavy cream
* 1 pinch(s) salt
* 9 ounce(s) bittersweet chocolate, chopped
* 2 tablespoon(s) unsalted butter
* 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
Directions:
Gather the cream, sugar, and zest and mix them well with the use of electric mixer then refrigerate.
Cook the pudding by combining sugar, cornstarch, milk, cream, and salt in a sauce pan under medium heat. It is cooked it has thickened and boiled. Remove it from the heat.
Mix the butter, chocolate, and vanilla until smooth. Mix them accordingly until it becomes fluffy. Pour in the orange whipped cream.
