Making Up Your Own Nappy Cakes

If you have been invited to a baby shower soon you may be wondering what to get the mum to be for a gift. A popular idea at the moment is nappy cakes. You can fill some of the tiers with toiletries for baby bath time. The best toiletries are nappy cream, baby bath, wipes and cotton wall. Do not forget to make the gift fun by adding toys, like rubber ducks to play with at bath time.

Once the nappy cakes have been filled you can put the finishing touches on them. Ribbon can be tied around the outsides of the nappies to hold the structure together. You might like to top the whole cake with a teddy bear in coordinating colors.
