men presents

So, you have to buy a birthday present for that special guy in your life.  Welcome to the “one stop shop” for not only selecting, but finding, the perfect presents for men. The goal of our site is to help you determine what you want to purchase, then provide you with a means to get it. In subsequent posts we will be outlining some of our “Top Picks”…gifts that we think are so special and unique, you might want to give them consideration… So, let’s get started picking out those wonderful presents for men…

What to do next…

  1. Consider how well you know this guy, and the level of your relationship with him. For example, if you have just started dating him, you don’t want to “scare him off” by getting him an expensive gift that puts pressure on the relationship. Just think about how he would feel to get this gift…if it would make him feel uncomfortable, then “think again”.
  2. One of the best ways to get what you want is to ask for it, right? That being said, why not ask that special guy what his desires are? This doesn’t mean that he will tell you exactly what he wants, but rather give you some input as to his hopes and desires in terms of what he would like to receive. Be sure to listen intently, and take some notes. With a little deductive reasoning, you will have some great gift ideas.
  3. What is his economic condition like? If he is rich, and can afford anything he wants, then you might think of getting him something that is more personal, like something you made yourself. After all, he’s rich, and if he wants something “off the shelf” he can just go get it.
  4. What is the guy’s lifestyle. This is something that you should definitely take into consideration. Is he a workaholic? A student? How about a sports fan? Consider him a “Party Animal”? How about a “Health Food Purist”? Often the “general” labels that we put on people will help us narrow down the gifts that they would like to receive.
  5. Lots of guys have hobbies, and from these hobbies you can often come up with some great gift ideas. You could try to locate someone on the internet, or from a local hobby store, who also enjoy this hobby. They will often give you some guidelines and ideas as to what the perfect gift might be.
  6. If he’s a sports fan, it’s hard to go wrong with a ticket to see his favorite sports team, or even an item autographed by his favorite player.
  7. If he is really “into himself”, he probably loves the sight and sound of his own name. You could personalize something, like a desk set, or a mug, or a notebook. Everytime he uses them, he will think of you.
  8. If he likes music, you could always get him tickets to hear his favorite band or orchestra. Just be sure to take into account his taste in music. Chances are, if he is into classical music, tickets to see the most popular “Heavy Metal Band” will transport him into a different world.

1967 ShelbyDoes that special guy like cars? Well, for the guy who loves cars, here’s the perfect gift. Perhaps he drools (for example) at the thought of a “1966 Mustang Shelby GT”. Well, unless you have “very deep pockets” (and even stronger arms we might add), it’s going to be hard to stuff one of those beauties under the tree. Having said that, there is a way to get him a token of his favorite car…get him the next best thing…an authentic replica of it. Pictured to the left is a “1966 Mustang Shelby GT 350 H Diecast Car Model 1/18 “Hertz” White With Gold Stripes Die Cast Car by Shelby Collectables”. This is a nice car, but there are other makes and models of cars available on their web site. From Fords to Hummers, from Toyotas to Lamborghinis, at DieCast Models they seem to have every car imaginable. Since 2001 they have been a direct distributor of diecast model cars online. They are dedicated to providing their customers with quality merchandise, wholesale pricing, excellent quality service and an overall positive shopping experience.

NFL HammerGo Team Go!!! Many guys are crazy about sports, right? If that special guy in your life happens to live in front of the TV with the sports channel on, show him that you understand his “hobby” by getting him an item imprinted with the logo of his favorite sports team. Why are we showing the picture of the Hammer you ask? Well, this is not merely a hammer, it has the logo of the NFL New England Patriots on it. We put up this picture to just give you some idea of the various items that you can find on this web site. Who would have ever thought you could get a team logo on something like a hammer…we didn’t. What if he is definitely not a Patriots fan? No problem…there are logos of all the NFL teams, plus those from the NHL, MLB, NBA, College Teams, etc. In fact the company, Football Fanatics, is the Ultimate College, NFL, NBA, NHL, NASCAR and MMA Sports Shop, featuring an endless assortment of NCAA and Pro Team Sports Merchandise and Apparel.

Who knows…this little hammer might be just what you were looking for as well. The next time he is watching sports, hand him the hammer. If he complains that you are suggesting he break his routine by working, you can merely say that you were just passing him “an item” with his favorite teams logo on it in kind of a “Go Team” gesture. Who knows…during the next commercial he might get the hint and do some work around the house…

No matter how old they are, if they are a sports fan this is a great gift idea?
